CAVEATS & DISCLAIMERS

The following is targeted to a broad audience. I've tried to order things from least to most obvious.

No
applicant for the FTTH Trial is guaranteed to be included in the final design of the Trial. Your home may or may not be included in the Trial.

The quality, reliability, availability, and support to be provided by the FTTH Trial and the selected ISP are unproven. Thus there is some degree of risk that aspects of the FTTH Trial will prove unsatisfactory for your purposes. Some of the terms, services, and other specifics of the FTTH Trial are likely to change with time.

There is no guarantee that the FTTH Trial alone will readily enable you to achieve a given benefit or service that may be discussed herein. Generally, additional equipment, expenses, research, and other services may be required. You are responsible for researching the availability and requirements of each application.

You should not construe the generic information and opinions provided herein as technical or legal advice applicable to your specific situation. Only you can decide as to whether the costs and terms of the FTTH Trial or the additional services are suitable for your own unique situation. You may not be able to evaluate the merits and risks by yourself. You are encouraged to seek competent professional legal and technical advice to aid in your evaluation. I generally will not be able to assist or advise you with such evaluations or any problems you may have.

Control of the FTTH Trial and related services lies at least in part with the selected ISP, the City of Palo Alto Utilities, the Palo Alto City Council, and the City of Palo Alto.

All information provided herein is believed accurate, but is not guaranteed, and is not intended as a substitute for the FTTH Trial documentation provided by the City of Palo Alto Utilities, which you should read in its entirety.
